Pat and her husband Gene are Co-Directors of Word of Love Ministries. Pat began hosting prayer meetings in 1985 with the goal to pray for our city, the Pastors, Leaders and those who God would send to our city with a seasonal word. As we branched out to the nations, prayer took on a distinctly prophetic and apostolic flavor.

We take very seriously the admonition to Pray at all times (on every occasion, in every season) in the Spirit with all (manner of) prayer and entreaty. To that end keep alert and watch with strong purpose and perseverance, interceding in behalf of all the saints, (God’s consecrated people). (Eph 6:18 Amp) We are all praying people with lots of people and events to pray over but our prayer meetings have their own manner of prayer called “praying by the Inward Witness.” (The Inward Witness Book was written to give description and understanding to a specific manner of prayer.) We are grateful for every manner and mode of prayer that would function in the complete Body of Christ, but this is the way that Holy Spirit, the One Who orchestrates prayer, has taught us. He has come to be our guide and director and we love not knowing what we will pray about until we gather together.

We at WOL love the work of prayer and count it a privilege to participate in whatever manner, mode or expression that the Lord would choose. As we lean into His abilities, Holy Spirit begins to carry us in prayer and takes us places that we had not intended to go, to pray over situations that we had not thought to pray. It is always an adventure!
